30 October 2015 - Teach Europe 2016

The Center's annual continuing education program for local teachers, Teach Europe, was held on October 30, 2015.  42 teachers attended the event. It consists of an opening talk highlighting a particular Rutgers resource available to New Jersey teachers; two concurrent workshops, one centered on literature/language and one on the social sciences; and a concluding lunchtime talk and discussion on the current state of Europe and the European Union.

  • Nikolas Kosmatopoulos will join CES as visiting scholar in spring 2019. Assistant professor in the dept. of Political Studies and Public Administration at the American University in Beirut, Nikolas's interests range from migration, to war and peace, to popular politics at sea! We are excited for his lively participation in the life of the Center.
  • CES announces its new Faculty Advisory Board
  • CES has been chosen as the Rutgers liaison to the Transatlantic Summer Institute, which runs transdisciplinary workshops for Ph.D. candidates in Germany and the U.S.
