TEACH EUROPE is a day of talks and workshops sponsored by a number of European consulates and language studies associations (the website is http://teacheurope.org/).  Rutgers University is one of three East Coast universities to offer the program, which advances the teaching of European Studies.

This year's program features two major invited speakers from Europe (a Professor of Education from Finland explaining how the Finnish education system manages to stay atop international comparative rankings of school performance, and a high ranking French diplomat who will speak on US-European relations).

Attendees are welcome to come for all or part of the program

There will also be workshops on Muslim communities in Europe, on the European Union, and on language instruction.

The program is free of charge, but attendees MUST register with Ursula Atkinson  at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and indicate whether they will be present for lunch.
